The property is located in sunny Nevada, in the city of Las Vegas. It is a trapezo-shaped plot covering 8,3 м2. The land is surrounded on all sides by houses and roads. There is one main entrance through the house porch and an additional gate on the right side of the garage.

Pre-project analysis showed that this site belongs to the USDA 9a-9b (According to the “Moon valley nurseries” map), with soil consisting of rocky (caliche), sand.

Based on photography and topographical survey the site is predominantly illuminated in the area of the future terrace and parking zone. Due to the close proximity of the house and the additional planned structure more shaded areas will also be created.

NUANCES

  • Landscape and climatic conditions. This type of soil combined with the hot climate makes cultivation of many crops challenging. Therefore, plant selection was based on thorough analysis and detailed research.

  • There is minimal initial data available.

  • There is a rise in ground level along the eastern boundary of the site.

  • There are houses located in close proximity to the property.

CLIENT'S WISHES

  • Create ample shade using plants and a canopy for hot hours;

  • Suggest interesting water features and their applications;

  • Position a sauna and a lightweight canopy with a dining area;

  • Select and locate suitable grass for the conditions;

  • Plant stabilized bamboo around the perimeter for additional screening from neighbors' windows;

  • Ensure privacy from neighbors on all sides;

  • Incorporate amorphous planters into the lounge area.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPOSED DESIGN

She inspires the creation of cozy and romantic corners which is reflected in our landscape design. Her symbolism imbues the space with sensuality and tenderness transforming the garden into an oasis of passion and tranquility. Venus reminds us of the importance of natural beauty and inner harmony inviting you to enjoy every moment surrounded by flowers, water, loved ones, and lush greenery. In every curve and element of the landscape — the spirit of love and aesthetics which makes the space unique, inspiring, and filled with emotion.
The architectural and spatial design is crafted in a blend of styles creating a harmonious mosaic. The entrance begins with an initial zone in front of the house where a desert-style composition beckons and invites into the estate wrapping around to guide visitors inward. Passing through the house you’ll emerge into a charming patio offering breathtaking views across the entire site. There is an additional relaxation area directly in front of the house where outdoor rock planters and a sofa group with a garden fireplace were designed for cool evenings. If you look to the left you can see the majestic olive tree that is planted in an elevated circular mound that is enchanting from every angle. Directly ahead you can see the dining zone with a closed barbecue complex beneath a fabric canopy that entwined with flowering vines and shaded by sprawling trees and shrubs creating a delicate and inviting canopy for relaxed pastime. Venturing to the eastern part of the garden along a stepping stone path made of large-format porcelain stoneware you can see a tranquil yoga zone surrounded by greenery and small fountain which is an ideal setting for meditation and reflective practice. If you look to the right, you can see a relaxation area with a modular bathhouse and a heated mini pool for four or five people offers a peaceful retreat shaded by a tree with a cozy nook for solitude and privacy. This place is perfect for escaping from the world.

On the western side of the estate there is a working zone that is equally enchanting. From the bedroom windows that are hidden behind lush multi-stemmed trees you can see a focal composition on an elevated mound.

Compositions of woody shrubs and low perennial plants throughout the entire territory punctuate the landscape emphasizing the philosophical harmony and thoughtful planning that embedded in this garden.
The main highlight of this project is the dining area that featuring an abstract Venus sculpture that serves as a guardian and a symbol of protection for this space.
